After a ridiculously long career as a screenwriter, I turned with relief to keeping bees, raising fruit and very occasionally writing novels. These all allow me to indulge my passion for research; and more often than not keep me outdoors.
I share my life with Alan Swyer, another writer at Farm Fresh, plus Xuxa the Wonder Dog (who knocked my front tooth out the first month we had her. Implants are a wonderful thing).
Alan and I also have two sons: Jonas Never, a nationally-known muralist who spends a scary amount of time on very tall ladders; and Cody Swyer, a Foreign Service Officer currently stationed in Afghanistan, uh….
